New Passport Requirements

Citizens of the United States, Canada, Bermuda, and Mexico traveling to and from certain destinations will need a passport or other accepted documents to enter or re-enter the United States. Anyone traveling across the U.S. border by air, land, or sea will be required to present a passport or valid identification for entry.On June 1, 2009, the U.S. government will implement the full requirements of the land and sea travel. The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry to have a passport, passport card, or other accepted travel documents.
