Collection of information
Although the type of personal information we collect will depend on your interaction or relationship with Interval, personal information we typically collect and store when you register and create a profile on a Site, includes your name, postal address, telephone number(s), and email address. We may also store your credit card information if you elect to save such information in connection with a transaction or in your profile.
As a visitor to the IntervalWorld.com website, you can engage in limited activities without providing any personal information. In connection with other activities, such as registering on the Site, performing an exchange, purchasing a Getaway, or booking travel, we may ask you to provide certain information about yourself, such as your first and last name, mailing address, member number, email address, telephone and facsimile numbers and if you transact business with Interval, financial information such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information). We may collect your date of birth to book cruise or air travel and for marketing purposes. When booking a cruise or air travel, you may be asked to provide your date of birth, however, this information is passed directly to the travel provider and is not retained by Interval. For regulatory compliance purposes, we may also ask that you provide your date of birth and/or passport information. Depending upon the activity, some of the information that we ask you to provide is identified as required and some as voluntary. If you do not provide the required data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity.
We may use third parties to provide, confirm, or supplement for us other information that is publicly or commercially available based on the information you provide to us or we collect from you. We will use this information for market analysis and our direct marketing.
Interval also may collect and store personal information about other people that you provide to us. For example, if you use the Site to make cruise or other travel reservations, we will collect from you, the personal information of each such travel companion, such as name, address, email address, telephone number and date of birth. This information is passed directly to the travel provider and is not retained by Interval.
We may monitor and record telephone calls, through which we may capture your personal information, for quality assurance, training, compliance, and security purposes. You will be notified whether the call is being recorded at the start of the call, and we will obtain your consent where required by law to record the call.
When you submit personal information to Interval, you understand and agree that this information may be transferred across national boundaries and may be stored and processed in any of the countries in which Interval operates, including, without limitation, the United States. You also acknowledge that in certain countries or with respect to certain activities, the collection, transfer, storage, and processing of your information may be undertaken by third-party vendors of Interval. Such vendors are bound by contract not to use your personal information for their own purposes or to provide it to others for the purpose of marketing to you.
Our Site is not directed to or intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or maintain personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If we are notified or discover that an individual under the age of 16 has submitted personal information to us, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.
Our Mobile Application
After download, the App solicits information from you. To use the App, you must sign in to your IntervalWorld.com account using your Interval Login ID and password. You will be asked by the App whether you want to use your current location associated with your device. You may elect not to allow your current location to be used.
We collect and use information about you and your device, including device ID, through this App, as well as other information obtained from our Site, to maintain and provide you with services, to respond to your questions and instructions, to maintain the integrity of our network and address security issues, to investigate or take action regarding violations or suspected violations of law or our terms and conditions, and to improve our services.
You may opt-out of information collection by uninstalling the App. You may use the standard uninstall application and data management process available as part of your mobile device or via the removal features provided in your chosen mobile app store or network. Once the App is uninstalled, information provided which is related to your IntervalWorld.com account (including but not limited to, purchase of Getaways, Guest Certificates, designating favorites or making an exchange request) will be stored in our server so that we may provide you with your requested services.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may collect certain information from cookies, pixel tags, web beacons or similar technologies for web analytics and direct marketing. We may place such cookies and similar technologies, including those from third parties, on our sites and through other digital channels we use to interact with you, such as email.
Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether to accept it. For some web pages that require an authorization, cookies are not optional. Users choosing not to accept cookies may not be able to access those pages.

Other Technologies. Interval may also use standard Internet technology, such as web beacons, pixels, and other similar technologies, to track your use of our Sites. Interval may include web beacons in promotional email messages or newsletters to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon. The information Interval obtains in this manner enables us to customize the services we offer to deliver targeted advertisements and to measure the overall effectiveness of our online advertising, content, programming or other activities.
Interval may also use Facebook Products (as defined by Facebook, which includes Messenger, Instagram and Audience Network) that enable us to follow the actions of visitors to our Site who are redirected to our Site after clicking on a Facebook advertisement; record the effectiveness of advertisements on Facebook for marketing, statistical, and market research purposes; serve targeted advertisements on Facebook that match interests determined by your activity on our Site and deliver ads on other websites within the Facebook Audience Network. In addition, we may use Google Marketing Platform, Google Ad Manager, and Google Display Network for marketing and remarketing purposes and may allow third-parties, including our service providers, advertising companies, and ad networks, to display advertisements on our Sites. This technology enables (a) users who have already visited our Sites and have shown interest in our products or services to see targeted advertising on websites within the Google Partner Network and (b) us to provide targeted advertising based on user interest. Our Sites do not provide any personal information to these third parties. These companies may use tracking technologies, such as cookies, to collect information about users who view or interact with their advertisements. This information allows them to deliver targeted advertisements and gauge their effectiveness. How your personal information is used
Interval collects your information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select. Interval may use information that we collect about you to deliver the products and services that you have requested, manage your membership and provide you with customer support, develop and display content and advertising tailored to your interests on our Sites and on third party websites, provide you with information about products and services we believe may be of interest to you, enforce our terms and conditions, and manage our business. Additionally, if you enter a contest, information is collected to qualify the entry and contact you regarding the contest or prize awards. Your personal information is also used to keep you informed about product upgrades, special offers, and other products and services of Interval and select third parties.
From time to time, we may send you notices of special offers, and other promotional communications on behalf of a third party. For example, we may send you an offer from a rental car agency that includes special fares for a particular time frame. Additionally, we may provide your contact information to a service provider for the purpose of providing you with certain marketing promotions which extend Interval benefits and services. If you do not wish to receive such offers please visit the My Profile page to unsubscribe from the applicable option.
Interval does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. We may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your personal information is not transferred to the third party.
Interval may collect information about the use of the Sites, such as the types of services used and how many users we receive daily. We may use all or part of any information that you provide on our Sites to personalize your experience the next time you visit us. This will make better use of your time and should make your visit to our Site much more productive.
We may use financial information or payment method to process or collect payment for any purchases made on our Sites and to protect against or identify possible fraudulent transactions.
With whom we share your information and your choices with respect to personal information
Interval recognizes and appreciates the importance of responsible use of your personal information. We may share your personal information with:
• Service providers: Interval may share your personal information with our service providers that perform services on our behalf. These services may include fulfilling orders or reservations, processing credit card payments, mail house services, delivering packages, and supporting contests, sweepstakes, surveys, marketing, products or benefits offered as part of your Interval membership or through our Sites. These service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share, sell, or use such information for any other purposes.
• Accommodation providers. When you book an accommodation, it is necessary for us to provide your personal information and booking information to these accommodation providers in order to fulfill and complete your booking. Sharing this information, such as the email address or other contact information you provide, with such providers also allows them to contact you directly about your stay.
There are other instances in which Interval may share your personal information. Upon request, we may provide certain information from our membership records to your home resort(s). Such information may include, but may not be limited to, your first and last name, mailing address, telephone number and email address. If Interval sells assets (or the assets of a division or subsidiary) to another entity, or Interval (or a division or subsidiary) is acquired by, or merged with, another entity, Interval may provide to such entity customer information that is related to that part of our business that was sold to or merged with the other entity without your consent. Interval may provide your personal information if necessary, in Interval's good faith judgment, to comply with laws or regulations of a governmental or regulatory body or in response to a valid subpoena, warrant, or order or to protect the rights of Interval or others.
We also may share aggregated and non-personal information we collect under any of the above circumstances. It may be shared with service providers to develop and deliver targeted advertising, including on our Sites, our App, and third-party sites. We may combine non-personal information we collect with additional non-personal information collected from other sources. We also may share aggregated information with third parties, including advisors, advertisers and investors, for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. For example, we may tell our advertisers the number of visitors to our Sites and the most popular features or services accessed. This information does not contain any personal information and may be used to develop content and services that we hope you and other users will find of interest and to target content and advertising.
Social media sites
Through our Sites, you can choose to access certain third party social media websites, such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. When you do so, you are sharing information with those websites, and the information you share will be governed by their privacy policies. We may collect and use the information, videos and photos that you post publicly on third party social media sites.

Protection of your personal information
The personal information you provide to us is subject to our organizational, physical, and technical security measures, procedures, and policies. The personal information that you provide in connection with your Interval membership is classified as Profile Information. Access by you to your Profile Information is available through a password and unique Login ID selected by you. Your password and profile information are encrypted while in transit. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. Your Profile Information resides on a secure server and Interval utilizes security architecture and technologies, such as multi-layer firewalls and network-based intrusion detection monitors, to protect your personal information.
When you submit credit card information to Interval, it is transferred using secure transmission protocols. This ensures that your information is encrypted as it travels over the Internet. This secure mode is enabled before any such information is transmitted from your computer. You will know you are in secure mode when the padlock or key icon in the left-hand corner of the computer screen appears in the locked position. In addition, when accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https." There is no guarantee, however, that the transmission, Internet, or storage system is fully secure. Please immediately notify us using the contact methods stated below if you have reason to believe that your interaction with us has been compromised.
Updating your personal information and privacy preferences
You have the right to access and correct your personal information at any time. This may be accomplished by writing Interval at: 6262 Sunset Drive, Miami, Florida, 33143 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name, address, and member number. You may also visit the “My Account” section of the Site.
Interval also provides you with the opportunity to specifically choose the promotional marketing e-mail communications you wish to receive from us by: 1) visiting the “My Account” section of IntervalWorld.com and un-checking the box next to the appropriate promotional marketing section, 2) writing to us at: Interval Customer Service, 6262 Sunset Drive, Miami, Florida 33143, 3) sending an email to email@example.com or 4) visiting the Email Us page in the “Customer Support” section.
In any commercial e-mail that we send to you, you will be given an opportunity to opt out of receiving such messages in the future. It may take up to 10 days for us to process an opt-out request. Interval may send you other types of transactional and relationship e-mail communications, such as exchange or Getaway confirmations, and administrative notices, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

Please note that if you provide Interval with inconsistent marketing preferences (for example, by indicating on one occasion that third parties may contact you with marketing offers and indicating on another occasion that they may not), Interval cannot guarantee that your most recent privacy preference will be honored.
